When you are pregnant, there are a lot of changes that will happen in your body. One such thing are the hormonal changes that affect the body and mind. Body pain and other uncomfortable symptoms are aspects of pregnancy you have to deal with. And you cannot always reach for standard pain relief medications when you are expecting, however you can check out Rolling Paper and other sources for natural sources of relief. During the second trimester, it will be difficult for you to have your previous favorite food in the same way how you used to eat it before. Some affinity towards a particular taste and sometimes an aversion towards a particular food will happen. Because of this most of us will start disliking the normal foods we used to enjoy and end up with less than what we are supposed to have. This will lead to a deficiency in the nutrient supply to you and your baby. It’s important, from the early pregnancy stages and beyond, to do your best to eat healthy food.
Here are some of the food items which will give you the necessary nutrients. Eating a lot of dairy products will give you the necessary protein and calcium that is required for the growth of foetus. When my sister was conceived, she visited a maternity hospital in Gurgaon for her regular check-ups and this hospital has a package which includes a consultation with their nutritionists. This helped her know what to eat and what not to eat. Her weight was well under control and had a normal delivery. You should avoid uncooked and raw food which cannot be digested easily. Your digestion capacity will change a lot due to hormonal changes and some of the food items cannot be digested easily. Eating high-mercury fish can lead to lot of side effects. Be very careful when you procure raw materials for cooking. If possible try buying organic products which are very healthy.
Do check out:
Reduce your caffeine intake. Sugar is always bad, whether you are pregnant or not it is going to be hard on your body. If you are a little over-weight, maintain a balanced diet which will also help in increasing your metabolism and burns unwanted fat. Obesity can lead to gestational diabetes during pregnancy. According to a research done at a maternity hospital in Chandigarh, about 75% of the obese pregnant women have faced gestational diabetes during their 2nd and 3rd trimesters. Most of the maternity hospitals are well equipped with experts to handle gestational diabetes with ease and it is no longer threatening. While there is some good news, on the other hand, there is an increasing number of miscarriages due to unhealthy habits. Drinking and smoking during pregnancy can lead to a lot of complications. It is a strict no to drinking and smoking. If you are a chain smoker, we would suggest you to get yourself out of the habit before you plan for pregnancy.
