SIIMA Awards 2014- Who Wore What

Very recently SIIMA Awards (South Indian International Movie Awards) were held at Malaysia where we saw a lots of happening and we saw a great number of celebs walking the red carpet. Off course, most of the faces were from South Indian Cinema but we saw a good number of Bollywood celebrities as well such as Sri Devi, Aftab Shivdasani, Ada Sharma, Asin, Tammannah Bhatia, Huma Quershi etc.

These stars totally rocked the event and all of them looked gorgeous wearing different outfits from various designers.

I always keep on checking such events from which I can get some fashion inspiration be it of Indian outfits or of Western outfits.

Here at the event, a lot’s of inspiration can be drawn from what celebrities wore, what accessories they paired and how they completed their look. Here at this fashion blog, I am going to share some of the looks of these celebrities which I hope you would love to see. So let’s quickly begin

Trisha was seen wearing a Monisha Jaising golden gown at the event. Her gown was flashy and the combination of black and gold seemed good. she for the whole event kept her phone in her hand instead of a purse or clutch, which I think she should have avoided.

Now let’s come to Tamannaah. Wearing her hair up, Tamannaah Bhatia looked gorgeous in this red gown by Tarun Tahiliani. The whole look got completed with a gorgeous gold necklace. I loved her dress. What’s your take?

Here is the look of Shriya Saran, who walked the red carpet wearing a velvet Sabyasachisari. I love sabyasachi dresses and he is one of my favourite designers. Now coming back to Shriya’s look, I found her gorgeous in this dress however I feel she is carrying the pallu rather in an awkward way. This sari is a good example of workmanship but her earrings seemed to be too heavy for the look. What do you think?

Wearing Rohit Bal, Huma Quereshi Looked cute in this black and golden dress. I loved her earrings and punchy bright red lip color. Over all except a few details she looked good.

We saw Asinafter a long dry spell at these SIIMA Awards, she was seen wearing an Arpita Mehta Sari at the event. There seemed to be a lot of graphic detail to her look but she carried it nicely.

I always say that I am a huge fan of Manish Malhotra and this time Bollywood Diva Srideviopted to wear gorgeous grey net sari by him. Her lip color doesn’t impress me much, also this sari isn’t my cup of tea but Sridevi surely looked hot in the look. Also diamond ruby Jewelery along with Marchesa Minaudiere was a thumbs up for me.

Charmme looked cute in this Sari by Shilpa Reddy. This sari was a little dull and I think it washed her out at the event; she should have opted for something bright for the event. What do you think?
